On October 25, the Singapore-based major industrial park developer KCN held a groundbreaking ceremony for the KCN Nhon Trach 6D Industrial Park in Dong Nai Province, with a total development area of 300 hectares spanning nine locations across Vietnam (four in the South and five in the North).
This industrial park is located in the economic hub between Ho Chi Minh City, Bien Hoa City, and Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, making it a crucial site for foreign businesses in the South. It has excellent access to major points: 42 km to downtown Ho Chi Minh City, 48 km to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, 18 km to the under-construction Long Thanh International Airport, 31 km to Cat Lai Port, and 40 km to Cai Mep Port, helping reduce logistics costs.
In terms of workforce availability, Dong Nai Province has a population of over 3.3 million and is easily accessible from Ho Chi Minh City, providing a reliable source of labor. Additionally, Nhon Trach General Hospital is located near the industrial park, ensuring swift response for any staff injuries or illnesses.
Dong Nai enjoys a warm climate year-round (average temperature: 26-28°C), and its elevation is around 18 meters, minimizing the risk of natural disasters such as flooding, creating a stable environment for investment.
This time, as part of Phase 1 of the industrial park, the plan is to build rental warehouses ranging in size from 4,847m2 to 6,405m2.
As Phase 1 of this project, KCN plans to construct rental warehouses ranging from 4,847㎡ to 6,405㎡ in size. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nuong, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Province Industrial Park Management Board, KCN Vietnam’s top executives, and representatives from partner agencies, all wishing for the project’s success.
