Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park (Nam Dinh Vu IP) Located in the center of Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Economic Zone. This is a general economic zone – a multi-industry, multi-sector marine economic center serving the socio-economic development needs of Hai Phong city, the Northern coastal region and the whole country.

• Nam Dinh Vu IP is located in a prime location right at the closest gateway to the sea compared to other industrial parks in the same area.

• About waterways: Nam Dinh Vu IP is located downstream of Bach Dang river connecting to the main channel of Hai Phong port system through Trap canal and Ha Nam canal.
• About railway: Nam Dinh Vu is 15 km from Hai Phong station. In the future, the Hai Phong – Hanoi – Lao Cai railway to Kunming, China will be extended to Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Economic Zone, of which Nam Dinh Vu is located in the center.

Temperate climatic conditions

Regarding climatic conditions, the weather here has two distinct seasons, winter and summer. Relatively mild climate:

• Because it is located close to the sea, in winter Dinh Vu Island is 1 degree Celsius warmer and in summer 1 degree Celsius cooler than Hanoi.
• Average temperature monthly from 20 – 23 degrees Celsius.
• Average humidity during the year is 80% to 85%, the highest (95%) is in July, August, September, and the lowest humidity is in December and January.
• Throughout the year there are about 1,692.4 hours of sunshine. The average ground radiation is 117 Kcal cm/min.
• Wind mode of the area is influenced by atmospheric general circulation and seasonal changes. The average wind speed is about 3.5m/s to 4.2 m/s.

This type of climate is relatively favorable for building and developing industrial factories, metallurgy, construction materials and new materials.

II. TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF NAM DINH VU INDUSTRIAL PARK

• Internal transportation system: Axle road 46m – 34m – 23m.
• Electricity distribution system: Supplied from the national grid through the 110/22KV Nam Dinh Vu transformer station with a capacity of 4 x 63 MVA (phase 1: 2×63 MVA)
• Water supply system: F600 pipeline. Ensure to meet customer needs.
• Wastewater treatment:Collected to the treatment station (phase 1 with capacity of 10,000 m3/day) before being discharged into the environment.
• Process rubbish: Collected, classified and processed according to standards.
• Tax incentive policy in Vietnam:
  • Income tax exemption for the first 4 years when the business has revenue and profits
  • 50 % Income tax exemption amount payable in the next 9 years from the first taxable year
  • Support income tax exemption for businesses that are NOT profitable for up to 7 years
  • 100% exemption from land use tax throughout the project
