  • About waterways: Nam Dinh Vu IP is located downstream of Bach Dang river connecting to the main channel of Hai Phong port system through Trap canal and Ha Nam canal.

Temperate climatic conditions

Regarding climatic conditions, the weather here has two distinct seasons, winter and summer. Relatively mild climate:

  • Because it is located close to the sea, in winter Dinh Vu Island is 1 degree Celsius warmer and in summer 1 degree Celsius cooler than Hanoi.
  • Average temperature monthly from 20 – 23 degrees Celsius.
  • Average humidity during the year is 80% to 85%, the highest (95%) is in July, August, September, and the lowest humidity is in December and January.
  • Throughout the year there are about 1,692.4 hours of sunshine. The average ground radiation is 117 Kcal cm/min.
  • Wind mode of the area is influenced by atmospheric general circulation and seasonal changes. The average wind speed is about 3.5m/s to 4.2 m/s.

This type of climate is relatively favorable for building and developing industrial factories, metallurgy, construction materials and new materials.

  • Wastewater treatment:Collected to the treatment station (phase 1 with capacity of 10,000 m3/day) before being discharged into the environment.
  • Process rubbish: Collected, classified and processed according to standards.

    • 50 % Income tax exemption amount payable in the next 9 years from the first taxable year
