When manufacturing companies enter Vietnam, choosing the right industrial park in a specific region is a crucial point. There are provinces and cities that are actively working to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and I would like to introduce a few examples of these regions.
Several provinces and cities actively work to attract foreign direct investment (FDI), and one notable example is Quang Ninh Province, famous for the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ha Long Bay.
Quang Ninh Province is located in the northeastern region of Vietnam, covering an area of 12,220 square kilometers and home to approximately 1.36 million residents.

Currently, Quang Ninh Province boasts 14 industrial zones, including:
Dam Nha Mac Service Industrial Park
Cai Lan Industrial Park
Dong Mai Industrial Park
FPV Dong Mai Industrial Center
Hai Yen Industrial Park
Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park
Viet Hung Industrial Park
Tien Yen Industrial Park
Hai Ha Industrial Park
Bac Dang Industrial Park
Nam Tien Phong Industrial Park
Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park
Core5 Quang Ninh 1 Industrial Park
Dong Trieu Industrial Park

Located in northeastern Vietnam and bordering China, Quang Ninh Province is part of the Vietnam-China Economic Cooperation Zone. This strategic position enhances its role as a trade hub between ASEAN countries and China. Additionally, Ha Long Bay, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, attracts numerous international tourists.

Prominent Japanese companies that have established operations in Quang Ninh include Yazaki Corporation (Dong Mai Industrial Zone), Castem, and Parts Seiko (Amata City Ha Long Industrial Zone).

In Ha Long City, there are serviced apartments catering to foreigners, featuring luxury accommodations with ocean views.
Additionally, some industrial zones are conveniently located for commuters from Haiphong City, such as the Amata City Ha Long Industrial Zone, which offers a commute time of approximately 40 minutes.

Quang Ninh Province presents significant advantages for companies importing raw materials from China, notably in reducing logistics costs due to its border location.
Furthermore, with the stunning Ha Long Bay nearby, expatriates can easily enjoy relaxing weekends in one of Vietnam’s premier tourist destinations.
